About ELSA

ELSA - Electronic License Safe Application - is a utility developed for the NICKMANN Studio eLicenser system, which allows users to manage all NICKMANN Studio software licenses in one place.

Licenses can be registered using ELSA and are stored on the license storage server. Many licenses can be transferred to another computer using ELSA. Possible license transactions depend on the specific software and license.

What does Activation mean?

All NICKMANN Studio software must be activated by downloading and storing the required license.

Activation is done with the ELSA utility. After entering the authorization code, the license is stored on the server.

After registration with the authorization code (if necessary), the license can be activated by selecting it from the list and pairing it with the given computer (if necessary).

How to use Authorization Codes

The instructions below describe in detail how to register a license by entering an authorization key and how to activate it in ELSA. We recommend using the latest updated version.

The required actions step-by-step:

• • Open the ELSA.

At first startup:

• • • • If you already have a NICKMANN Studio registration, enter your registered e-mail address and the associated user ID. If you cannot find your user ID, leave this field blank and you can request it to be sent after entering your email address. If you can't find it, check your SPAM folder! After that, you can complete the identification by entering the received user ID.

      • If you have not yet registered for NICKMANN Studio, enter your email address and click [Save]. Acknowledge the error message and click the [Send registration letter] button.
        Find the received letter in your mailbox (If you can't find it, check your SPAM folder!) and copy the confirmation key (user ID) contained in it into the field to be filled in, then click the [confirm] button.

  • In the menu, click on [Licenses/Registration].

• • Enter the authorization key. Of course, you can copy and paste the key into the input field.

  • Click [Search] and then [Registration] to complete the registration.

  • After the license is registered, it will appear under [Licenses/Listing]. If necessary, you can activate and pair it here. You can now use the software.

If you have further unused Authorization keys, simply repeat the steps accordingly.
